Gino Bernero's "The Road to Fishes" guide service is based in Grants Pass, Oregon. Gino guides for steelhead in southern Oregon and northern California using fly fishing techniques exclusively. Gino primarily employs two-handed casting, or spey casting, techniques on his steelhead trips.
The Rogue River is Gino's primary destination in southern Oregon. Gino fishes the Upper and Middle sections of the Rogue River from September through March. He also guides the Applegate River in February and March. Gino also spends time during January, February and March in the Gold Beach area fishing the Lower Rogue and nearby rivers.
Gino guides the Klamath and Trinity Rivers in California, starting on the Klamath in late July and moving to the Trinity in November and early December.
